How to get there
Bridgewater native Jessica Crawford returns to The Sipe Center stage for a heartfelt hometown performance, bringing with her a collection of songs steeped in memory and meaning. After years of exploring different paths and places—including two seasons in Nashville—she found her way back to the Shenandoah Valley in late 2024, carrying with her a fresh sound and a newly completed recording project of Sentimental Americana songs mixed and mastered on Music Row at the historic RCA Building. Many of the songs were written during the pandemic while Jessica was living in—and caring for—her late grandmother’s 1890s farmhouse in Augusta County. That experience of solitude gave her time to reflect on family history, which gave rise to a more reflective, storytelling style rooted in the landscapes and legacies of her upbringing.
Her show at The Sipe Center will feature a curated blend of original songs and carefully chosen covers that help tell her story and lessons learned along her journey. Jessica’s latest project, Dogwood Tree, is a tender tribute to family, heritage, and the beauty of coming full circle.
